Second-Year Software Engineering Student | Level 5
My journey into the world of software engineering began with a bold move from the Czech Republic to the UK and has since evolved into a dedicated pursuit of technical excellence.
Currently, I am in my **second year of University studies (Level 5)** at Blackpool and Fylde College, specializing in Software Development. Having successfully completed Level 4, I am now deepening my expertise in complex systems, mobile development, and cloud infrastructure.
From Social Work to Cloud & Mobile Dev
Coming from a social work background in Czechia, I brought with me a strong sense of empathy and problem-solving, which I now apply to user-centric software design. My transition involved mastering English and Mathematics (Functional Skills Level 2) before diving into a year-long IT Systems foundation. Today, that foundation supports my work with advanced tools and frameworks.
Mobile Development
I have discovered a passion for cross-platform development using Flutter. My flagship project, Book Compass, showcases my ability to create functional, intuitive mobile applications.
Infrastructure & Cloud
At university, I’ve gained hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and virtualization using ProxMox, preparing me for the demands of modern DevOps and deployment environments.
